mhunkeys, Did you try this in English version of Windows 7 x64 Edition or something else?

I'm using English version Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. I already tried it twice and it has same result. I think it doesn't support 64bit?

I think I found the culprit. If you're using UXTheme Patcher that patches the memory stuff like VistaGlazz or something similar, it'll cause issue with file-based patcher like ones I'm using now. I suggest you to uninstall Theme engine memory patcher before installing this.

It seems there're 2 possibilities

1. The application I use for x64 resource editor (Resourcer) doesn't work well in some machines

2. Windows Update add certain something to make system files modification went wrong

Please re-download the latest fix. Snow Transformation Pack is now working fine in Windows 7 x64 Edition without risks to get black screen anymore. If you have any problems related to black screen and such, please visit this page www.winxsoft.com/stp/faq.html

I had to hard reset the laptop, boot into safemode and disable the Unsigned themes service, then it booted fine
